One woman was killed and another woman was injured after a SUV rollover collision occurred on Interstate 630 at the Fair Park Blvd exit.
According to Arkansas State Police officials, the accident occurred when the 22-year-old driver of the Chevy Blazer somehow lost control of the vehicle and it flipped and rolled two times as a result.
The 22-year-old passenger was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was thrown from the SUV. The driver was also ejected from the vehicle during the crash, but the extent of her injuries are not known at this time. The report does not state whether or not her seat belt was on and investigators have not yet named a cause of the collision.
Rollover accidents can be extremely dangerous for everyone in the vehicle. Our thoughts are with the friends and family of the victims in the case during this difficult time.
