Three sent to hospital after DeWitt rollover accident

Three people were sent to the hospital after rollover accident occurred on Interstate 481 in DeWitt.

One person was ejected from the vehicle as a result of the collision and suffered from serious head injuries as a result. Two other occupants suffered non-life threatening injury including cuts and broken bones.

It is unknown what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle and flip over, but the passengers were able to flag over a motorist over in order to call for help. The northbound lane of the roadway was closed for quite some time after the accident occurred.

WSP: Five injured in I-90 rollover accident

A rollover accident on I-90 in Washington left five people injured.

According to Washington State Patrol, the accident occurred Sunday at 7:20 a.m .when a 20-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle while traveling westbound and attempting to change lanes.

The driver and four others were transported to the hospital in order to be treated for injuries sustained. Later that day, one passenger was still listed to be in serious condition. Officials believe that speed may have been a factor in the collision, but further details are still under investigation.

Beer theft results in SUV rollover accident

Four men were involved in SUV rollover accident after stealing beer from a convenient store and attempting to flee the scene.

According to police in the Phoenix area where the incident occurred, the four men went into a Circle K convenient store and walked out with multiple cases of beer.

The four men jumped into an SUV in order to flee from police, but the driver lost control near 44th Street and Osborn Road causing the vehicle to flip and rollover.

The men apparently also stole other items that were near the register. Two of the men refused medical treatment, but two others suffered serious injuries. Three of the men were all under the age 18. Further information is not available at this time.

Three injured in Jeep rollover crash

Three people were injured after a Jeep rollover crash occurred in New Madrid County.

According to police officials, the accident occurred on Missouri State Highway 25 just after 8:53 a.m. when a 33-year-old woman was driving a Jeep and she went off the side of the road for unknown reasons.

The vehicle then flipped and rolled over causing herself and her two passengers to suffer  non-life threatening injury. Two passengers were taken to Twin Rivers Hospital and one was taken to Missouri Southern Healthcare. Further details on their injuries are not known at this time.

Two injured in Texas rollover accident

Two people were injured after a truck rollover accident in Hutto, Texas that occurred between a pickup truck and a semi-truck.

According to Hutto police, the accident occurred when the pickup truck traveled into the intersection and was struck by the semi-truck at the intersection of Highway 79 and FM 685.

The 18-wheeler then flipped and rolled over onto its side spilling gravel onto the roadway. Both drivers were taken into Seton Williamson to be treated. The semi-truck driver has minor injuries while the pickup truck driver suffered life-threatening injury. It took crews 2 and half hours in order to clear the lane of traffic.

According to police officials in the area,  the accident occurred Monday just after 3 a.m. on I-70 when the driver lost control of the car for unknown reasons.

The accident occurred between Livingston Avenue and James Road on the westbound lane of the highway. Columbus police have stated that one person was taken into custody as a result.

Man killed in Iowa rollover accident

A man was killed in rollover SUV accident after he lost control of his vehicle while driving in southeastern Iowa.

According to Iowa State Patrol, the man was traveling on U.S. Highway 218 just after 12:30 p.m. when his car went off of the shoulder and the driver attempted to get the vehicle back on the road, but overcorrected the vehicle.

Pickup truck rollover crash injures one

Police are currently investigating whether or not ice on the roadways was the cause of a pickup truck rollover accident on Interstate 69 that left one man injured.

According to police, the accident took place in Stueben County when the 39-year-old driver of the pickup truck was traveling on the roadway and his truck rolled into the median, flipped, rolled over and continued until it came to a stop near the guardrail.
