Thousands of Honda minivans with airbag problem recalled

Japanese automaker Honda recently issued a recall of 24,889 new minivan models due to an airbag problem that may endanger the life of occupants during accidents, an article from InvestorPlace reported on May 2.

According to reports, the side airbags in the 2014 Odyssey minivans sold in the U.S. may malfunction in accidents due to flawed couplers. The issue was discovered by the car maker in one of the repairs that was covered by warranty. Honda said they were unaware of any crashes or injuries related to the defective airbag couplers in the minivans before the recall.
