One killed and two injured in Texas rollover

One person was killed and two others suffered injuries after a pickup truck rollover accident on I-35 North, KGNS reported on May 6.

According to the Department of Public Safety, a vehicle apparently rolled over near mile marker 37. A vehicle passenger, identified as Roger Moreno, 45, was pronounced dead at the accident scene. Two other occupants of the vehicle, whose names were not revealed, were transported to a nearby hospital due to leg injuries they sustained in the crash. Preliminary investigations revealed that the vehicle, an F-250 pickup truck, lost control after one of its tires became damaged from the road. It was not reported what, exactly, caused the tire to break.

The fatal rollover accident occurred near the south Texas border checkpoint, and the public was warned about heavy traffic in the area as the crash was cleaned up and investigated.

The attorneys at the Willis Law Firm extend their thoughts to those affected by this tragic and unexpected loss.
