One child killed in Houston ATV rollover accident

A 5-year-old boy was killed and three other children suffered injuries after the All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) they were riding on rolled over northeast of Houston, the San Antonio Express-News reported on June 12.

Information coming from the Chambers County Sheriff’s Office revealed that the ATV rollover accident happened in the afternoon of June 11. The all-terrain vehicle was occupied by six individuals with ages ranging from 5 to 16 years old when it rolled over in the vicinity of Mont Belvieu. The five-year-old boy was killed immediately at the accident scene. Three ATV occupants, whose identities were not released, were transported to a hospital due to their injuries. Authorities confirmed that two of the ATV occupants were not injured in the crash. An investigation was held to determine the cause of the accident.
