According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Chrysler Group is recalling 65,180 Dodge Journeys over a defect in the airbag system.
On some of the vehicles, the wires in the doors may become weak and break which will cause the side airbags to fail to deploy in a crash.
Chrysler has said that there have been no injuries reported at this time from the failed airbags. Beginning in February 2011, homes that are affected by this recall will be called by the company and they will be replacing the wiring free of charge.
