A rollover accident on Goodwin Lane in New Braunfels on May 31st, 2013, left the driver critically injured and in need of emergency medical treatment. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found the 46-year old motorist trapped in the vehicle and were required to cut off the car’s roof in order to pull the individual out of the wreck.
Because of the severity of the driver’s injuries, an airlift to University Hospital was provided. While police are still investigating the accident, they believe it occurred after the driver of the vehicle struck a telephone poll, causing the car to roll several times before stopping in a farmer’s field nearby.
