One person was reportedly killed and another one injured when the SUV they occupied rolled over in Midland, Texas, the Midland Reporter-Telegram reported on June 8.
Reports from the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) said the one-vehicle accident occurred at around 2:00 a.m. on eastbound Highway 191. The SUV swerved and over-corrected, resulting in the rollover that threw the two occupants from the vehicle. Responding authorities recovered the body of 22-year-old Luis Escarcega-Brito, declared dead at the scene. Another person, a 26-year-old man whose name was withheld, sustained serious injuries from the crash. Authorities were unsure which man was driving at the time of the accident.
