Students in Louisville, Kentucky were injured when involved in a bus rollover accident while on their way to a field trip.
Sixteen fourth grade students were injured in the crash that occurred on I-65 in Hart County. Two teachers and the bus driver were also injured in the incident. A preliminary investigation into the accident showed that a tractor trailer was passing the bus on the roadway when the bus driver swerved because it seemed as if the truck was going to collide with the bus.
The slick and rainy conditions then made the bus driver lose control and the bus toppled over an embankment. The current condition of the injured children is not known at this time.
